HUUF Facility Rental Guidelines

Effective October 2010        

 

·         The Security Deposit is required at least 60 days in advance of building use.  The remaining balance of rental fees are required to be paid at least 30 days in advance of event date.

·        

     We require 30 days notice for event cancellation for a full refund. If the event is canceled after that time, the security deposit will be held and any other fees paid will be returned.

·       

       ONLY beer and wine may be served in HUUF facilities.  If beer and wine are being served, the Building User is required to show a license to sell alcohol and evidence of liquor liability insurance coverage in the amount of $1 million for the period of building use.

·       

       HUUF does not have insurance to cover losses to Building Users’ or guests’ property and will not be responsible for any losses. 

·       

       The Building User who signed the Building Use Agreement is responsible for the activities of caterers, musicians, rental companies and anyone else hired or invited by the User to be on the premises.  This includes responsibility for removal and pick-up of all equipment and furnishings. 

·        

      The Building User is responsible for any damage to HUUF property.

·        

      Music must be turned off by 10:00 p.m. and people out of building by 11:00 p.m. unless prior arrangements have been made.

·        

      Any necessary after-event cleaning will be charged at $50.00. Small groups may choose a self-cleaning option, upon approval.

·        

      All rental fees include the services of a Building Steward.  The Building Steward will be present to open and close the building, to be of general assistance in locating furnishings and equipment, and to assure that the Building Use Guidelines, Security Checklist, and Checklist for Cleaning are understood and followed. The Building Steward is not available for chair and table set up, for cleaning, or for child care.
