Our Fellowship encourages the formation of small groups, for the purpose of pursuing common interests and forming close ties with other members. Sometimes these groups form as a result of an Adult Religious Education class; other times individuals simply decide to become a group. Groups can include non-members of HUUF. Occasionally a group offers to host an Equinox or Solstice gathering, or to contribute another service of some kind to the Fellowship. Some are open to newcomers; others are closed because of their size, but are committed to helping other HUUF members form new similar groups. Some of the groups we now have are:
- Monday Night Potlucks - 2nd Monday of each month, dinner and program.
- Men's group - On-going self-determined gathering of men.
- Women's groups - On-going self-determined groups, with new groups forming each year.
- Young Adults group - For ages 18-25.
- GLTB - Gays and Lesbians group.
- Mixed Media Mavens - Artists in all mediums meet twice a month at the Fellowship.
- New Yorkers (who review the N.Y. magazine).
- Craft Studio - Semi-monthly gathering for crafts and socialization.
- Lunch Bunch - Meet monthly at various restaurants.
- Daylighters - Afternoon meetings on the first Monday of each month.
- 7 @ 7 - Potlucks with other members in our homes to get better acquainted.
- Moviegoers - Meet on the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Fellowship at 4 p.m.
