Celebrating African Heritage

All are welcome to come have fun! Harambee Youth Connections invites you to an afternoon of music, stories, and shared food. Come sing along, share stories, and gather together with family and community.

Bring a dish to share, and join in the Food Scavenger Hunt, a fun way for all ages to connect over the table.

Harambee Youth Connections is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing space for Youth and Families of Color in Humboldt County. Through workshops, restorative circles, cultural practices, and community outreach, they strengthen cultural identity, community resilience, and self-determination, and celebrate the contributions of people of African descent in music, drumming, storytelling, and the cultural arts.
