Our congregation has the diversity of spiritual beliefs, cultural backgrounds, and sexual orientations that make Unitarian Universalism such a dynamic faith. We are a warm, welcoming group of individuals and families, wanderers, searchers and leaders. We are companions, each on our own journey of spiritual growth, and together we work to live out our faith in the world.

The Location of our fellowship is on the unceded ancestral lands of the Wiyot Tribe, who have been the stewards of this land for generations.  We recognize the ongoing impacts of colonization on the Wiyot people. We commit to learning the history and culture, while working to honor their sovereignty and current presence on this land.  With gratitude we participate in the Honor Tax, and encourage others to do the same.

Unitarian Universalism is a religion based on covenant, not creed or dogma. Covenant is a promise to stay connected. We stay connected to each other as we search for truth and create meaning, each in our own way. We participate in church community so we can be transformed and help transform the world.

We are people of many beliefs and backgrounds: people with religious background, people with none, people who believe in a God, people who don’t, and people who let the mystery be. We are Unitarian Universalist and Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Humanist, Jewish, Muslim, Pagan, atheist and agnostic, believers in God, and more.

On the forefront of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer inclusion, we are people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

You are very welcome here–your whole self, your full identity, from questioning mind to expansive heart. Join us on this extraordinary adventure of faith!

Unitarian Universalism draws from our heritages of freedom, reason, hope, and courage, building on the foundation of love. We covenant, congregation-to-congregation and through our Association, to support and assist one another in our ministries.

Love is the power that holds us together and is at the center of our shared values. The values we share include all the following, which we hold as inseparable and deeply interconnected:

  • Interdependence: We honor the interdependent web of all existence and acknowledge our place in it.
  • Pluralism: We are all sacred beings, diverse in culture, experience, and theology.
  • Justice: We work to be diverse multicultural Beloved Communities where all feel welcome and can thrive.
  • Transformation: We adapt to the changing world.
  • Generosity: We cultivate a spirit of gratitude and hope.
  • Equity: We declare that every person is inherently worthy and has the right to flourish with dignity, love, and compassion.
