THE CATALOG IS HERE! >>>>catalog_012819
This year’s Service Auction will take place on February 9th, 2019, at HUUF from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sweet and Savory Finger Foods, as well as beverages will be available.
Admission is $10 and includes a souvenir glass with one adult drink. Additional wine and beer will be available for purchase. Admission for children under 12 years is free, and childcare and age-appropriate activities for children are provided.
There will be tables of items and services to bid on, as well as a HUUF Valentine Store.
A Live Auction for extra special items and services will begin at 5:30 p.m.
We have a new ‘Auction Bulletin Board’ in the lobby, where you can sign up to volunteer for specific auction jobs before or during the auction. See the previews of auction items already donated! Get inspired by ideas and fill out a donation form. Is there a special dinner or service you’re willing to donate? Think of partnering with a few other chefs or friends whose dining room can seat more people, or who can help you with your service. Do you have a skill or a valuable service to offer? Pet sitting, teaching-knitting, or set up and using a smartphone or tablet? Sky’s the limit (Kite flying?)!
This year, we will be selling tickets in advance. Getting your ticket ahead of time will help the Auction Committee plan. Buy one for a friend or neighbor, and bring them with you!
The HUUF Auction Committee meets every Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. – 12 noon at the Fellowship. Come visit and find an area where you would like to volunteer or let us know on the volunteer sign-up sheets in the lobby. The annual auction is based on the successful format from the last 2 years, with a few changes. Your ideas are welcomed!
