Our Religious Exploration team is seeking to fill two exciting and fulfilling positions! We are seeking a Teacher and a Teen Teacher’s Assistant to join our Religious Exploration team, working with youth ages 2–14.

Schedule:

• Sundays, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• 1–3 classroom days per month with availability for events and monthly meeting

Childcare Assistant Responsibilities:

• Create an open, warm, and welcoming UU values focused environment for children and families
• Actively engage with children through a variety of activities
• Support Sunday programming and occasional special events
• Work under the supervision of the Religious Exploration Program Coordinator (REPC)

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Religious Exploration Committee (staff and parent/caregiver volunteers)
• Plan and implement curriculum for youth programming
• Work under the supervision of the REPC

Qualifications:

• Experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE) encouraged but not required
• Fingerprinting and background check required
