Embodying Resistance: A Musical Service

You are warmly invited to a service held primarily through music, rhythm, and shared presence. We are honored to welcome Land Sisters, a musical collective made up of Kiki, Claire, Kahish, Dianna, Ivy, Anaëlle, and Casey—one of whom is a cherished member of our community. Together, they offer original music woven with guitar, percussion, and cello.
The theme of the service is Embodying Resistance. This gathering invites us to experience resistance not as an abstract idea, but as something lived and felt—in our bodies, our voices, and our collective breath. Each part of the service will be carried by song, guiding us through a shared arc of reflection, expression, and connection.
This is a participatory service, and you are invited to join in the singing in whatever way feels comfortable for you—out loud, quietly, or simply by listening. You are welcome to move, rest, hum, or be still, allowing the music to meet you where you are.
Come as you are. Bring your voice, your presence, or simply your listening. You are welcome here.

Following the service, all are invited to stay for a potluck meal with continued music and fellowship. Please bring a dish to share if you are able, as well as your own plate as you are able.  We will have limited use of the our kitchen this day and this added step of creating fewer dishes to clean will help us greatly.
Feel free to linger as long as you wish for food, conversation, and song.
