In All Things, Give Thanks

We’re all familiar at this point, no doubt, with working with Gratitude as a practice.  Whether writing it down, texting a friend, or simply pausing before a meal to name a few of the places where grace is moving in our world, it’s a powerful way to recalibrate our hearts and minds to the frequency of abundance.  But what would it look like to work with this practice, not only for the things in our world that elicit joy, but to consciously give thanks for the places of difficulty, challenge, or sorrow that exist for us, as well.  How might our perceptions change if we learned to give thanks not just inside the pleasant, but offer it up inside the pain, as well?  What shifts might occur if we developed a habit of thankfulness in the midst of it all?  Together, let’s try this on for size and see where it leads.
Please, join us after the service, as well, for our quarterly Congregational Meeting.
