Social Action: And Service Be Our Prayer

We will come together at HUUF to deepen our partnership with Arcata House, which provides twice-daily hot meals, emergency shelter, and longer-term housing assistance to folks dealing with housing insecurity. Come dressed ready to help prepare meals in the HUUF kitchen. Through song, ritual, and direct action, we will embrace values we hold dear.

This Sunday, for those of you joining us via Zoom, we invite you to a collective viewing of:

Woven in a Single Garment of Destiny

A textured tapestry or piece of fabric in rich tones of blue, gold, green, and red.

“We are not alone, though sometimes we forget that truth. We are woven into one cloth, one gorgeous blanket, designed for use, for comfort, to sustain and to love…”
—Rev. Dr. Sarah Lenzi

“Woven in a Single Garment of Destiny” is a full-length video worship service exploring and celebrating hallmarks of our Unitarian Universalist theology.  Rev. Erika Hewitt & Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray lead this spirited and heartening exploration of Covenant, and how we do the work of repair when that sacred agreement gets broken.

Sandy Lynn will host via the usual service link.  Stick around for virtual coffee hour and discussion time directly after.
